Trip Report - September, 1991 - Red Canyon (New Hance), Tonto, Grandview Trails |

As soon as I got back from the prior trip I picked out a good date to do a re-attempt of the Red Canyon (New Hance) Trail. I figured that early September would be safe from snow and ice on the south rim and still not too hot in the inner canyon so that's what I would shoot for. I sent in the permit request and got a Backcountry Permit.
