Now meet all the rest of us

We had an interesting group of passengers on this trip. Personally, I liked them more that on any of the other river trips that we have taken. They were as follows:

Clyde Philbrick and all of his family that he brought along.

They are from left:

Janice MacBride, Clyde's niece.

Kristy Friedman, Clyde's grand niece.

Katherine MacDonald, Clyde's grand-daughter, and an excellent dory skipper. We have already told about her.

Jim MacDonald, Clyde's son-in-law, Katherine's father, an attorney in private practice after a number of years in corporate law. Jim hired Mike Meade right out of law school to join him in partnership. Mike is now in corporate law.

Charlene MacDonald, one of Clyde's daughters, and Katherine's mother.

Clyde Philbrick, the patriarch. Clyde is a 78 year old retired pilot and aeronautical businessman, who has had a fascinating life in flying all over the world.

Diane Allen, one of Clyde's daughters.

Don Streetman, Diane Allen's boy friend, who would become her husband when they held their surprise wedding at Deer Creek Falls on the second half of this trip. I am sorry that Bill and I had to leave at Bright Angel Creek, because we would have loved to be there.
